Do you need a ride to the Thursday Dollar General hearing? David Scheffler is offering to rent a van…and feed you lunch!

From Joshua Tree resident David Scheffler:

Dear Conscious Friends,

As most of you are aware and maybe some are not, the town of Joshua Tree is in a battle to keep Dollar General from building one of their “Mini Walmart’s” in town. The key to success in blocking this effort is public outcry against the project. There is a public hearing being held in San Bernardino on Thursday starting at 9am. The more people that we can get to this meeting the better our chances of stopping this.

I am willing to rent a large van and feed everyone lunch if you will attend the meeting that day and support the cause. The people ALWAYS have the power if EVERYONE stands up to be counted.

Thanks,

David Scheffler
