Wed Dec 7 7pm: Review of candidates for appointment to open seat on JOSHUA BASIN WATER DISTRICT BOARD

The Joshua Tree Water District’s Board of Directors are preparing to vote to appoint a member of the community to fill the vacant board seat through to December, 2012.

Tonight, the Board is scheduled to conduct public interviews of candidates and possibly select one.

Since the public is invited to comment on any item on the agenda during discussion of that item, this is your chance to discuss the merits of the various candidates in a public forum.

If you support one of the candidates, show up and speak up.

We support Karen Tracy.

The Board Meeting begins at 7pm at the JBWD’s offices, located at 61750 Cholita Road.

In 2006, I was one of five Angelenos listed in the Music section of Los Angeles Magazine's annual "Power" issue. In 2007-8, I produced a blog called "Nature Trumps," about the L.A. River. Today, I live a peaceful life in the rural wilderness of Joshua Tree, California, where I am a partner in JTHomesteader.com with Stephanie Smith.
